Feeding 70 Families Each Week
Each week around 70 local families receive emergency food parcels from the Pine Rivers Church Emergency Relief Service.
As part of our mission to connect people with the God who loves them, we give food supplies to around 70 families each week.
Pine Rivers church serves families in need of emergency food supplies in the suburbs of Kallangur, Dakabin, Petire, Narangba, Lawnton and Murrumba Downs.
Each family receives one box of fresh fruit and vegetables and one box essential food items.
We have an awesome team of volunteers led by Chris and Jan.
Partnership with Oz Harvest
Much of the food comes from local supermarkets and is delivered to the church in Kallangur by our amazing partners Oz Harvest.
The service operates at the church every Monday and Friday afternoon.
Christmas Hamper Appeal
At Christmas time over 200 families receive Christmas Hampers. This is a cooperative venture each year that Pine Rivers Church partners with local Not-For-Profit organisations, businesses and our Federal, State and local politicians.
